Product Description

Core Functions of Magnesium

· Core component of chlorophyll

Magnesium serves as the central atom of chlorophyll. Magnesium deficiency causes yellow leaves, reduced photosynthesis, weak crop growth and low yields. Magnesium supplementation boosts photosynthesis and accumulates sugars, starches and proteins.

·  Enzyme activator

It accelerates the uptake and conversion of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, as well as the synthesis and translocation of carbohydrates, making fruits sweeter and grains plumper.

·  Enhances stress resistance

It improves crop tolerance to drought, cold and diseases, and alleviates nutrient antagonism induced by excessive calcium or potassium.

·  Improves fruit quality

Magnesium deficiency in fruit trees and vegetables easily leads to fruit drop, small fruits and bland taste. Magnesium facilitates nutrient transport to fruits, increasing sugar content and coloration.

Functions of Sulfur

·  Synthesizes amino acids, proteins and vitamins

Sulfur is an essential element for cystine and methionine. Sulfur deficiency yellows new leaves and hinders protein synthesis.

·  Boosts flavor and nutritional value

Alliums, rapeseed, soybeans and tea crops have high sulfur demand. Sulfur enhances aroma and taste, and raises the oil yield of oilseed crops.

·  Promotes nitrogen fixation

Sulfur is essential for rhizobial nitrogen fixation in leguminous crops and improves nitrogen fixation efficiency.

·  Ameliorates slightly alkaline soil

It partially neutralizes alkalinity and activates trace elements such as phosphorus, zinc and iron in soil.
