Our fertilizer grade magnesium oxide (MgO) is a professional magnesium-based raw material for agricultural fertilization processed via controlled calcination and purification of high-quality magnesite ore, with magnesium oxide (MgO) as the core effective ingredient. Featuring adjustable activity, stable effective magnesium content and low harmful impurity content, it serves as a slow-release elemental magnesium fertilizer source compliant with agricultural fertilizer production standards, widely blended into compound fertilizer, bulk blending fertilizer and organic fertilizer to replenish soil and crop magnesium nutrition.
Main uses of the product
All agronomic effects originate from the physicochemical properties of magnesium oxide. MgO gradually reacts with soil moisture and weak organic acid in soil environment to dissociate available magnesium ions and realize slow long-term magnesium supply for crops:
· Fundamental magnesium supplement to solve soil magnesium deficiency
Magnesium oxide is the core slow-release magnesium source for soil amendment. After being applied into soil, MgO undergoes gradual hydration and acidolysis to continuously release plant-available magnesium ions, supplement inherent magnesium shortage in impoverished soil, eradicate crop magnesium-deficient symptoms such as leaf chlorosis, interveinal yellowing and premature leaf senescence caused by insufficient available magnesium.
· Optimize soil physicochemical environment, regulate soil pH value
Magnesium oxide is weakly alkaline. Its slow dissolution in acidic soil neutralizes excess free hydrogen ions, effectively ameliorate acidified soil, improve soil buffer capacity, reduce toxic effect of active aluminum and manganese in acid soil on crop root system, create suitable growing environment for crop root development.
· Promote chlorophyll synthesis and enhance crop photosynthesis
Magnesium ions decomposed from MgO form the central atom of chlorophyll molecule. Sustained magnesium supply from magnesium oxide ensures sufficient chlorophyll generation inside crops, strengthens photosynthetic efficiency, boosts carbohydrate accumulation and lays foundation for yield increase.
· Facilitate nutrient absorption and improve crop stress resistance
Magnesium derived from MgO participates in activation of dozens of crop metabolic enzymes, accelerates absorption and transportation of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other medium & trace elements by crop roots; meanwhile it stabilizes cell membrane structure of crops, improves cold resistance, drought resistance and disease resistance of field crops, fruits and vegetables.
· Boost crop yield and improve agricultural product quality
Steady magnesium supply from magnesium oxide promotes fruit expansion, improves fruit sugar content, soluble solid content and commodity traits for fruit trees, vegetables and cash crops; for grain crops, it increases thousand-grain weight and effective panicle number to realize stable yield increment.
